A few words about Vancouver

|
Vancouver is a port city, the largest in Western Canada in the province of British Columbia. It is the metropolis of the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD), the district known as the Lower Mainland (metropolitan area located in the southwest corner of the province), with a population of 2,200,000 inhabitants (2004).
Vancouver has the third largest urban park in North America, Stanley Park. Due north, 3 mountains overshadow the city of Vancouver: Seymour Mountain, Cypress Mountain and Grouse Mountain. In winter these three mountains become crowded ski resorts, and all 3 are serviced by urban buses and trains.
