School year 2009 – 2010: SUPINFO offers a
unique and innovative program
Nearly 6500 SUPINFO students worldwide (France, United Kingdom, Italy, China, USA, Canada, Morocco…) are getting ready to go back to school, with 1500 of these being new students. In order to provide optimal conditions for the beginning of their school year, SUPINFO has developed a new program called " ePrep’Courses", designed to be an active accompaniment for the new students and to make them familiar with the school’s international educational model. Innovative, personalized and collaborative tools are available on the school portal, leader in France.
Joining SUPINFO is now done a different way. With the help of its educational partners such as Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle and Mandriva, SUPINFO has put in place an open collaborative platform to exchange and share knowledge between learners and experts; all the power of a community connected for an easier and more efficient integration.
A new and multimodal approach
ePrep’Courses proposes a discovery route of the technological and educational tools, an assessment and evaluation without precedent for new students. An individual and personalized online training is proposed according to their previous educational course to student’s admitted in the 1st year (Bachelor1), 2nd year (Bachelor2), 3rd year (Bachelor3) or 4th year (Master1).
Freedom, efficiency and autonomy
ePrep’Courses is an innovative program not only in its content but also in its educational modalities. Adapted to meet the needs of the new students, it was developed as e-learning to be undertaken at the student’s home. This program encourages autonomy, develops time and objectives management and makes the student aware of the technological and academic tools used at SUPINFO.
Each student is supported during the realization of his specific course and he will receive a personalized report of his results in order to succeed during his studies at SUPINFO. Even before joining their campuses, new students are prepared to manage projects at distance and assimilate the different technological and educational tools developed by SUPINFO.
This new device aims to provide better support for students during their first admission to SUPINFO.
ePrep’Courses, key steps in a successful school year:
- Each new SUPINFO student accesses his personalized program by indicating his identification number on the portal
- In order for him to become familiar with the SUPINFO international environment, his course is detailed, the various exchange possibilities and the technology at his disposal (forums, Online Education platform, the international practices portal and class supplements…)
- The individual educational course assessment is undertaken by one of the SUPINFO teachers who will remain his mentor during the entire course.
- Each step of the program ends in a test in order to create each new student’s personalized report before the beginning of the school year (2 November 2009).
ePrep’Courses, an intensive and totally online integration program, is added to other contents which are available to SUPINFO students 24/7. Live presentations, documents, exercises and tests are offered all year on the school network which forms the international data base and exchange of knowledge.
