Cegid and SUPINFO have signed a strategic partnership agreement
As part of its programme, Cegid Education, Cegid has signed a strategic partnership agreement with SUPINFO - the Institute of Information Technology - aimed at training students of the new International Master of Science in Business Intelligence Publisher.
Launched in 2004, the Cegid Education programme offers to the "Grandes Ecoles" (Higher Education Institutes), universities and colleges, opportunities to provide to future professional users management solutions tailored to the needs of companies. In 4 years, more than 6,000 students were trained in Cegid solutions.
Under this programme Cegid, the first French leading publisher of software management, has today announced the agreement of a strategic partnership with SUPINFO, the worldwide leading school in Information Technology in France, for the higher education of ICT.
Based on the terms of the partnership, Cegid provides SUPINFO – especially the students of the new International Masters of Sciences (Business Intelligence, ERP Solution Manager and, Quality and Services Management) - with certificates of Cegid Open Executive, Cegid solutions for reporting requirements and information analysis.
Students of the International Masters of Science, who will be trained in Cegid Open Executive, will benefit from a vocational training for decision-making solutions, a strategic training as part of the decision-making process within a company. A Cegid Open Executive certificate will be also awarded to each student at the end of his or her course.
"This agreement indicates the beginning of a promising partnership between SUPINFO and Cegid. Initially, the students will be provided with a useful tool as part of this new specialised training. Ultimately, the creation of a common course, certified by Cegid, could then enable graduates to easily join Cegid's ecosystem (customers, partners)" says Patrick Bertrand, CEO of Cegid.
"We already have a number of partnerships with software publishers. This new partnership with Cegid is in line with our policy of bringing together educational leaders in the sector of Information Technology. It will contribute significantly to enhance the skills of our students in functional areas and trades. Very quickly, we will expand this partnership to all of our 6,500 students expected at the beginning of the 2008 school term." adds Thierry Boidart, the Managing Director and Academic Director of SUPINFO.
