Paris, 18 September 2008 - SUPINFO, the French information technology school world leader with over 6500 registered students at 33 sites in France, the USA, China, Canada, the United Kingdom and Morocco, and XEROX, the world leader in document management, announce the signing of an international agreement. With this partnership, the collaborative platform Codendi™ developed by XEROX becomes the tool of reference for SUPINFO to train its students in collaborative development

From the 2008 academic year, 6500 students will be able to use the very latest version of Codendi 3.6 which includes new functions such as Salome TMF or Gantt graphs and charts to follow-up artefacts. Codendi™ will be accessible from all 33 SUPINFO schools in France and throughout the world (Paris, London, San Francisco, Montreal, Beijing, Casablanca…). SUPINFO engineering students will thus learn how to work in a collaborative way and to use the tools essential for software projects: tracker, code manager, tests, documents, deliverables, Eclipse plugins, etc |

Over the last ten years SUPINFO has entered into successful strategic partnerships with the world leaders in the IT industry such as Microsoft, n°1 worldwide for software, Oracle, n° 1 worldwide for databases, Cisco Systems, n°1 worldwide for communication network technologies, but also IBM, Sun Microsystems, Mandriva and Apple. Students are thus using the most recent technologies within the school's training labs.
From their very first year and throughout the whole of their studies, SUPINFO students can take the professional certifications of these IT and software companies which means they become quickly operational during their internships within a company.
Thanks to this pragmatic approach to IT and communications training and to the numerous internships within companies undertaken during their course, all the young SUPINFO graduates (Bac+5, niveau I) find employment within 3 months of finishing their studies.
