SUPINFO Edinburgh

Would you like to live a true international experience without being too far from France? Spend two years in Edinburgh, in Scotland, preparing a British Bachelor "Honours" degree while benefiting from the exchange program between SUPINFO and Napier University - for the price of a year at SUPINFO Paris!

Presentation of the SUPINFO Edinburgh program

The students registered at SUPINFO in the second year of the preparatory cycle (PS2) can apply to follow their first and second year of the engineering cycle (IS1 and IS2) in our Scottish partner’s university in Edinburgh: Napier University. In this case, they have the opportunity to prepare, on top of their SUPINFO Engineering degree, the Napier University Bachelor of Engineering Diploma:

Honours BEng Software Engineering Degree

or

Honours BEng Computer Networks and Distributed Systems

The students from IS1 and IS2 then become - at the same time - students of SUPINFO and of NAPIER University. They have to follow a set of disciplinary and evaluation conditions to continue with their third year of the Engineering cycle in SUPINFO Paris, so as to obtain the SUPINFO and NAPIER degrees.

To have the opportunity to follow IS1 and IS2 in Edinburgh, an enrolment request has to be sent in between November 1st and, in all cases, before the deadline of the enrolment process fixed by UCAS (University and Colleges Admission Service).

Admission conditions for NAPIER University

All students who are properly registered in PS2 can be candidates. In accordance with the agreements between SUPINFO and NAPIER University, SUPINFO is responsible for the student files that will be selected and transmitted to the enrolment service in Scotland. In this context, only the students having a correct and unblemished SUPINFO record can be selected by SUPINFO. As well, to guarantee that these students will have the best opportunities for success in Scotland, candidates must obtain a mark in TOEIC (Test Of English for International Communications) superior or equal to 750 (naturally, SUPINFO will cover the cost of one TOEIC exam per student).

The number of students leaving each year for NAPIER University is limited. Only the best files will be accepted from those sent in. The criteria taken into account for judging the files will be, among others, the student’s marks from the two previous years, the cover letter, the general profile of the student and his degree of participation in the school’s activities.
