Obtention conditions:
You must be:
A French national or a foreign national if your fiscal home has been located in France for at least two years.
Be a student registered in a public or state education institution accredited by the French Education Ministry such as SUPINFO Paris.
Conducting an internship abroad or in one of the French Overseas departments or regions for a minimum duration of one month and as part of the student's studies.
For your information:
Priority is given to students who hold a higher education grant but ALL students can apply for a grant.
The amount of the grant depends on the travel destination specified at the time of registration for the grant. It can in no way exceed the real cost of the travels.
Payment of the travel grant:
The payment of the grant is made upon returning from the internship after the mandatory presentation of an attestation signed by the School's (SUPINFO) Director and of an attestation signed and stamped by the receiving internship organizer (originals only) at the end of the internship.
In the case of an interneship associated with a SUPINFO Summer-School, you must obtain an internship attestation from the foreign school location (An attestation of SUPINFO China in Paris for a Summer School in China for example). The grant is only for transportation expenses and can not cover expenses for food or accomodation expenses.
Application File:
You must obtain for an application form called "TRAVEL GRANT APPLICATION FOR A MANDATORY INTERNSHIP ABROAD OR IN A DOM-TOM" from the CROUS in Paris.
It must be completed and returned to the CROUS with the following documents:
- 2 stamped envelopes labelled with your adress
- 1 photocopy of your identity card or of your passport
- 1 certificate of attendance (certificat de scolarité)
- 1 photocopy (both sides) of your parents' tax return if you do not hold an higher-education grant
- 1 photocopy of your grant certificate for the academic year if you are a grant holder
- 1 photocopy of your bank details
- 1 invoice stating the transport expenses (both ways between your place of residence and the place of internship)
