Labour Law and IT

3LAW 5 chapters 2 ECTS credits Level Intermediate

Introduction

The new information and communication technologies are pervasive in enterprises. The CIO’s role and missions have expanded tremendously. It has to faces many risks that go beyond its initial skills, including legal risks. He manages many teams and participates actively in the recruitment process. It is requested to set up new technologies at the service of human resource.

 

This course aims to understand the labor law and to understand how this right adapted to this explosion of new technologies.

 

After having evoked the various types of work contracts and the associated clauses, it will approach the rules of procedure, the data-processing charter, the limits of the control of the employees (use of Internet, biometric control, vidéosurveillance, geolocation, recording of the calls.) as well as the computer tools at disposal of the company like the tools for recruitment and the staff management, telephony, the telecommuting, the whistleblowing, the management of social and cultural works…

  • know the various working contracts, to understand the consequences of certain clauses, to analyse their legality to apply them or cancel them.
  • understand the regulatory powers of the employer and to delimit the uses of control of the employees
